I photographed Christie and Jeff's Wedding in 2006, but I have known Christie since she was a little girl.  Her mom is one of my very best friends and when I found out that she was pregnant I was filled with so much emotion.  I never thought that I would get to that avenue in my life where my friend's children were having children...for heaven's sake...I still think I'm 25!  Anyway, I wanted to present them with some images that they could look back on after little Jeremy was born to remember that very special time.  Jeremy's due date was supposed to be February 8, 2010, but the little rascal was getting a little too big and the doc's decided to make him come out and greet the world on January 29, 2010. I was lucky to go to visit the little guy at his home with the proud mom and dad and "gigi"!!  When I held little Jeremy in my arms, it brought me back to a day six years ago when my own little Jesse came to us and brought us triple joy as he added so much to our lives along with his two sisters.Jeremy was such a great model.  He slept when I wanted him to sleep, he opened his eyes when I wanted him too and he even lifted his head, which was amazing for a fourteen day old!!I can't wait for his one month studio session!!  I have so many fun things planned for his big photo session!!  Congratulations Christie and Jeff!

I am so fortunate to live in a town that everyone gets to know everyone.  I met Jess' mom Denise, when my daughter Sierra was playing Softball.  Denise and her husband Wayne were Sierra's coach.  Last year Denise called me and asked me to photograph her daughter Jami for her senior pix. I was thrilled when she called and asked me to photograph her other daughter Jess this year!!  Jess is such a fabulous and fun person.  She loved being in front of the camera and the camera loved her!! Jess, it was so much fun working with you!  Enjoy your senior year!

On August 29th the Mt Carmel - Sister Christina society of East Hartford held their annual golf tournament at the Keeney Park Golf Course in Hartford.  The event went on despite the rain and the golfers showed up with aspirations of winning the tournament. The tournament is held every year as a fundraiser.  This is the 3rd year in a row that I have been invited to photograph the foursomes and am so happy to be a part of this fabulous group!
